Good afternoon anglers,
This week showed great improvement in Montauk. Larger Bass are showing up every tide. The jig bite is red hot with Blues up to 12 lbs and Bass ranging from school to 30lbs. By the end of the month I am in hoping the live bait bite starts to produce some of these larger fish. ( we do not troll on the Krystyna Maria you hold the rod you catch the fish.) Fluke fishing was good for us this week as me managed a bunch of nice fish to 5 lbs before the fan kicked on.

Thursday June 27 Fluke/Sea Bass /Scup
Sunday June 30 Fluke /Bass first live bait trip of the season 2 days before the July Moon.
Monday July 15 is still open and falls 1 day before the other July moon this is for sure a prime date to fish for bass.
