June 20 June 26 and June 27 Trips.

Wednesday June 20

We ran an open boat. Bernie once again showed off his Fluke skills, boating 3 nice Fluke to 6 lbs.  There were a good amount of fish and bait in the locations we visited.

Tuesday June 2

Tuesday June 2

We had the pleasure of sailing with Joe, Jeff, and crew from the Atlantis Anglers fishing club. Despite near perfect weather conditions, we had a slow, non existent drift most of the day. We bounced around from spot to spot with not much to show but small Sea Bass. On the last move we found a body of fish willing to chew. The action picked up and the boys iced a few for dinner, while playing catch and release with a bunch of just short fish. The highlight of the day were the 2 submarines that passed by within a half of a mile. The second sub was moving at a good clip and sent off a wake you would have to see to believe.

Wednesday June 27

What a difference when you have ideal drifting conditions. Rick and crew iced a limit of Sea Bass and landed a solid amount of Fluke to 6.5 lbs in short time. We then moved about in search of some bigger Fluke, but the bite turned off with the change in tide.

I have some dates available at the end of July and though August.

Please do not hesitate to call. If you are interested in receiving text messages for singles trips please email me your phone number and full name and I will contact you when sailing an open boat.

Striped Bass should be here any day !

Misty Dawn II mission is to provide its customers with an enjoyable exciting experience and relaxing time on the water, while catching fish and exploring the beauties that Montauk has to offer.
